Auto detailing goes beyond a wash: a full detail typically includes clay bar decontamination, machine polishing to remove swirl marks, a sealant or wax, and a deep interior clean with shampooed carpets and conditioned leather. Detail shops price by vehicle size and condition, and a full interior and exterior detail takes most of a day. Ceramic coatings are a hardened liquid layer applied after paint correction that lasts years rather than weeks and makes washing easier; paint protection film (PPF, or clear bra) is a self-healing urethane wrap that stops rock chips on the hood, bumper and mirrors. Window tint shops apply dyed, carbon or ceramic film to cut heat and glare, subject to each state's visible light transmission limits.

Myrtle Beach is in South Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Myrtle Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Being new to the area, I did a search for a window tint place close to my home and β€œWindow Effects” came up, and I am so glad it did. The customer service from Mike was nothing less than stellar! My expectations have been exceeded by the care and work on my vehicle. The price was fair and the product used is reliable. I will definitely be a repeat customer. πŸ™Œ ~ Pastor Ellis, PhD

I got a 2022 Mustang back in May. My family vacation at the beach was June 1-7. I decided it would be easiest to get it tinted while we were down there. I did a little looking around and went with Window Effects…and I’m sure glad I did!! The process was quite simple and I was kept up to date on it all. It didn’t take too terribly long and the cost was very good as well. Some of those businesses can charge an arm and a leg!! If you’re at the beach and in the market for a good window tinting then look no further than Window Effects. You’ll be glad you did.

Mike did a fantastic job on my front windows. Gave me a great deal and was really just an all around great experience. Made small talk with me and overall just went above and beyond. Five stars from me and 0 complaints. Will only get my tints done from him from now on.
